Departing from Baja Sardinia or Palau, we begin our navigation by skirting the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, sailing between the island of Caprera and the island of Santo Stefano (we can see the Caprera Sailing Centre, the former American base and the bridge connecting Caprera with La Maddalena); once in La Maddalena, the first stop includes an hour of shopping and a walk through the historic centre, full of characteristic craft shops, typical Sardinian products, maritime objects, bars, ice cream parlours

Our journey begins in the country La Maddalena, more precisely in the Medaglie d'Oro Quay
We set off along the island of La Maddalena, the south side where we can admire the characteristic little harbour of Cala Gavetta, above Guardia Vecchia and the majestic Villa Weber where Benito Mussolini spent a month and a half of his life in 'exile'.

Passing through Punta Sardegna, we arrived on the island of Spargi and stopped for about an hour and a half for a swim on the beach.
On the island of Spargi, the M/B Orient Express stopped at Cala Granara, the M/B Paradiso at Cala Connari.
We set off again, skirting the entire eastern side of the island, full of numerous beautiful coves and its tafoni, those rocks that have taken on particular shapes and characteristics under the effect of the weather.

After about 20 minutes of sailing along the famous Bocche di Bonifacio, where Corsica can be glimpsed in the distance, we arrive on the island of Budelli to admire the prestigious Spiaggia Rosa (Pink Beach), here, a short photo stop and dive into the transparent waters.

We continue in the direction of Porto della Madonna (known as the Natural Pools), so called because of the transparency of its sea, which takes on different shades of colour; here we dive for a short swim from the boat with both the M/B Paradiso and the M/B Orient Expres.
Last stop, at the island of Santa Maria (Cala Santa Maria), the only island with houses (including Roberto Benigni's); here the two motorboats stop for an hour and 30 minutes.

Returning to the ports of departure, in the distance we see the smaller islets that complete the archipelago: Barrettini, Barrettinelli, Corcelli and Isola Piana.
Skirting the western part of La Maddalena, we show you, Punta Marginetto, the northernmost point of the island, the little church of the Madonnetta overlooking the sea, Cava Francese and Punta Tegge.
